Dockside Festival - Dockside Walking Tour

Take in Port Adelaide's fascinating stories on this free walking tour exclusive to Dockside Festival in 2025.

There are TWO sessions, at 11.30am on Saturday 8 February, and 1pm on Sunday 9 February.

The one-hour tour will unveil Port Adelaide's history and culture, walking along the Port River as part of a loop route. Known by early settlers as Port Misery, you’ll hear how this vital part of Adelaide developed and understand how it functions today. 

Discover key landmarks in a new light, and what gives the area appeal in the modern day. Get to know the Port that little bit better on the Dockside Walking Tour, whether you're a local or haven't been to the area in years!

This tour is taken by Flamboyance Tours, which operates a regular Port Adelaide Walking Tour available to the public six days a week.

Notes

*The tour is free but registering is essential.

*There will not be a toilet break during this event as it is a short tour (there is a public toilet in Mundy St near the start/end point).

*Any child over five years old must be registered in your booking (children aged four and under can still attend and don't need to be registered).
